Orange Ice Cream

Ingredients:

  • Oranges                                               3
  • Orange zest                                        1
  • Icing sugar                                           175 gm
  • Double cream                                    584 milliliters
  • Wafers (to serve)                            6

 

Method:

  1. Squeeze the juice of all 3 oranges and pour into a bowl with the zest and sugar.
  2. Stir to dissolve the sugar and add the double cream.
  3. Whip everything until it holds soft peaks, and then turn
  4.  into an air-tight container. Cover and freeze until firm.
  5. Serve in a bowl, with wafers.
