Pickled Potato

Ingredients:

  • Potatoes                                                          1 kg
  • Tomatoes                                                        2
  • Green Chilies                                                  10
  • Salt                                                                  As per taste
  • Red Chili Powder                                            1/2 tsp
  • Turmeric Powder                                            1/2 tsp
  • Coriander Powder                                           1/2 tsp
  • Fennel Seeds                                                   1tsp
  • Cumin Seeds                                                   1tsp
  • Coriander Seeds                                              1tsp
  • Crushed Red Chili                                           1tsp
  • Onion Seeds                                                    A pinch
  • Pickle                                                               As per preference
  • Gram Flour                                                      3 tbsp
  • Yoghurt                                                           250 gram
  • Coriander Leaves                                            For garnishing

Method:

  1. Peel and chop the potatoes.
  2. Fill a saucepan with water and add the chopped potatoes, tomatoes and green chilies.
  3. Now add all the dry spices and put it to boil.
  4. When the potatoes are almost cooked, add pickle as per your desired taste.
  5. Mix yoghurt and gram flour together to form a paste.
  6. Add this to the potatoes and cook for a few minutes on medium high flame.
  7. Serve in the dish and garnish with fresh coriander leaves.
