Piyazi kareely
Ingredients
Kareely ½ kg peeled and cut into thin slices
Oil ½ cup
Green chilies 3 sliced
Onion ½ kg sliced
Chili powder 1 tsp
Salt 1 tsp
Sugar 1 tsp
Khatai powder 1 tsp
Coriander seeds 1 tbsp
Fennel seeds 1 tsp
Onion seeds ½ tsp
Yogurt ½ cup
Method
Peel kareely, cut into slices, rub 1 tsp salt, keep for half an hour, wash well, heat oil, fry kareely till light golden, remove from oil, fry onion till light golden, add kareelay with roasted and grinded coriander seeds, fennel seeds, onions seeds, chili powder, salt, add yogurt, fry well, add kareelay, leave it on dum, lastly add sugar and remove.
