Ingredients:
- Butter 6 ounces
- Sugar 6 ounces
- Flour 6 ounces
- Baking powder 1½ tsp
- Eggs 3 separated
- Lemon essence ½ tsp
- Lemon peel 1 tsp
- Milk ¼ cup
- Yellow color pinch
Method:
- Beat butter and sugar till creamy, add egg yolks 1 at a time till all 3 have been added
- Add lemon essence, lemon peel, and yellow color
- Fold in the sieved mixture of flour and baking powder alternating with milk.
- Pour mixture into a well greased loaf tin and bake on 180 D for 35 mins.
- Remove and serve with tea.
