Potato And Cheese Sticks Ramadan Recipe by Chef Shireen Anwar

Ingredients:

  • Mash potatoes 1 kg
  • Mozzarella cheese ½ kg cut into fingers
  • Coriander leaves 2 tbsp
  • Green chilies finely chopped 4
  • Crushed red pepper 1 tsp
  • Salt ¾ tsp
  • Chat masala ½ tsp
  • Eggs 2 beaten
  • Bread crumbs 2 cups

 Method:

  1. Peel, boil and mash potatoes.
  2. Add in seasonings with chopped greens .
  3. Cut mozzarella cheese into sticks.
  4. Wrap mozzarella sticks in mashed potatoes, dip in beaten egg.
  5. Then bread crumbs, again in egg and crumbs
  6. Chill for 1 hour and deep fry, serve immediately.
