Prawn Makhni By Shireen Anwar

Ingredients:

  • Prawns half kg cleaned
  • Tomato puree ¾ cups
  • Ginger Garlic paste 2 tsp
  • Chili powder 1 tsp
  • Lemon juice 2 tbsp
  • Garam Masala half tsp
  • Dried Fenugreek Seeds 1 tsp
  • Sugar 1 tbsp
  • Cream half cup
  • Butter 2 tbsp
  • Oil quarter cup

 

Method:

  1. Marinate prawns with paste salt lemon juice leave it for 15 min.
  2. heat oil in a wok add crushed garlic 1 tbsp green cardamom tomato puree and water half cup.
  3. Cook for 10 mins.
  4. Skewers the prawns on a wooden Skewers and grill in 2 tbsp oil in a grill pan for 7 – 8 mins.
  5. Add salt chili powder, garam Masala powder kasuri meethi and sugar to gravy.
  6. Give Dum of coal to prawns add the skewers to the gravy and simmer for 2 min lastly add cream transfer to a serving dish serve hot.
