Ingredients:
- beef minced 750 gm
- Red lentil 500 gm
- Chopped tomatoes 3
- Tomatoes (sliced) 2
- Onion chopped 3
- Curry leaves 2
- Mint 1 bunch
- Cumin 1 tsp
- Black pepper 5-6
- Cinnamon 2 sticks
- Cardamoms 3-4
- Garam masala powder 1 tsp
- Nutmeg powder ½ tsp
- Mace powder ½ tsp
- Ginger garlic paste 1 tbsp
- Red chilli powder 1 tbsp
- Coriander powder 1 tbsp
- Turmeric powder ½ tsp
- Rice 1 kg
- Green chillies 5-6
- Food color (yellow) a pinch
- Oil 1 cup
- Clarified butter 2-3 tbsp
- Salt to taste
Method:
- In a bowl soaked rice. Heat water in pan adds rice and boiled.
- In a separate bowl soaked red lentil and boiled.
- Heat oil in pan add onion, ginger garlic paste, beef minced, turmeric, cumin
- Add cinnamon stick, cardamom, black pepper and salt, sauté well.
- Add tomatoes, curry leaves, garam masala powder, nutmeg powder
- Add mace powder, red chilli powder, coriander powder and green chillies fry well.
- Add little water then add tomato slice and chopped mint. Add red lentil mix well.
- Then add layer of boil rice. Add layer of clarified butter.
- Then add yellow food color and simmer.
- When done dish out and serve.
