Ingredients:
- Rice ½ kg soaked
- Mutton ½ kg
- Ginger garlic paste 2 tbsp
- Red chili powder 1-½ tsp
- Coconut 1 tsp
- Cashew nuts 1 tbsp
- Poppy seeds 1 tsp
- Sesame seeds 1 tsp
- Salt 2 tsp
- Turmeric ½ tsp
- Brown onion ½ cup
- Yogurt 1 cup
- Coriander powder 1 ½ tsp
- Screw pine essence 1 tbsp
- Allspice 1 tsp
- Green chilies whole 4
Method:
- Grind together coconut, cashew nuts, poppy seeds, sesame seeds.
- Now mix with ginger garlic paste, chili powder, dhania, turmeric, marinate mutton with this paste.
- H eat oil, add brown onion with ½ cup water.
- Add the marinated mutton, cover and cook for 15 mins.
- Then add yogurt, cover and cook for another 10 mins, add 2 cups water, cook until mutton is tender.
- Add in the mutton, 3 cups water, boil, add in the soaked rice, cover and cook till done.
- Lastly add allspice, whole green chilies and kewra essence, leave it on done.
