Sabut Masoor Khara Masala Recipe By Rida Aftab

SABUT MASOOR KHARA MASALA
INGREDIENTS:
Red Lentil (DAAL) ½ kg
Lemon Juice ½ cup
Turmeric Powder 1 tsp
Salt 1 tsp
Whole Red Chilies (small) 10
Garlic 10 cloves
Whole Coriander 1 tbsp
Cumin 2 tsp
Finely Chopped Ginger 2 tbsp
Desiccated Powder 4 tbsp
Oil ½ cup
Fried Cashews 1 cup
Green Coriander ½ bunch

METHOD:
Soak ½ kg red lentil and keep the water to boil. When the boil comes, then add, soaked lentils and add 1 tsp turmeric powder and tenderize it. Now add 10 whole red chilies, black pepper, 1 tbsp whole coriander, 2 tsp cumin, 4 tbsp desiccated powder, 2 tbsp finely chopped ginger and 10 garlic cloves and chop it and heat oil and cook it. Put the boiled lentil and mix it and put it on simmer for 10 minutes. In the end, sprinkle ½ bunch green coriander and ½ cup lemon juice .
