Shahi Murgh Recipe by Zarnak Sidhwa in Food Diaries

Ingredients :
1 kg Chicken
20 kashmiri Red Chilies
15-20 Cloves Garlic
1 tbsp kashmiri Red Chilli Powder

Chopped Onions 3
Coriander Chopped 1 cup
Ginger 2 tbsp
Cahew (paste)        15

Method :
In a pan heat oil.  Fry the onions. Àdd the chicken and 1 tbsp kashmiri red chilli powder and saute. Grind the soaked kashmiri red chillies and garlic with water till a smooth paste forms and then add it. Let this cook on high heat covered. The paste will change color towards dark and oil will seprate. Now  add in salt and the chopped coriander and ginger. Saute.  Add the cashew paste and cook covered after a through mix for not more than 2-3 minutes. Adjust gravy if required by addin hot water
