Shakarkandi Ka Halwa Recipe by Rida Aftab at Tarka

Shakarkand (Sweet Potatoes) Halwa Recipe

 

Ingredients:

Sweet Potatoes (Boiled)

Cardamoms

Pistachios

Crushed Coconut

Khoya

Sugar

Ghee

Kehwra Water

Dry Milk Powder

METHOD:

  • Heat ghee, add boiled sweet potatoes, cardamoms and fry.
  • Now, add sugar and keep cooking. When sugar syrup dries add chopped coconut, khoya and mix well.
  • In the end add kehwra water, dry milk powder, and turn off the heat.
  • Pour Shakarkandi ka Halwa, in a serving dish sprinkle pistachios and serve it.
