SHAMI KABAB BIRYANI

Ingredients:

  • Of Making Kabab:
  • Mince 1/2kg
  • Bengal Gram (boiled) 1 cup
  • Button Red Chilies 12
  • Salt 1 tsp
  • Onion 1
  • Fennel Seeds 1tbsp
  • Whole Coriander 1 tbsp
  • Garam Masala Powder 1 tsp
  • Ginger Garlic 1 tbsp
  • Black Cardamoms 2
  • Eggs 2
  • Oil for frying
  • Ingredients Of Making Biryani:
  • Rice (boiled) ½ kg
  • Boneless Chicken ½ kg
  • Ginger Garlic Paste 1 tbsp
  • Green Chilies Paste 2 tbsp
  • Cardamoms 6
  • Black Cumin Seeds 2 tsp
  • Salt 1-1/2 tsp
  • Kehwra Essence ½ tsp
  • Yellow Food Color ½ tsp
  • Mint Leaves 1 bunch
  • Onion 1
  • Oil ½ cup
  • Bay Leaves 2

Method:

  1. For making kabab:
  2.  In a pan, add bengal gram, mince, button red chilies, salt, onion, fennel seeds, whole coriander, garam masala powder, ginger garlic paste,cardamoms , water and cook it.
  3.  When all ingredients are tenders , dries water and let it cool.
  4. Then add eggs make kabab shape and fry in heat oil.
    For making biryani:
  5. In a pan, add chicken , water and boil it.
  6. When chicken are tenders, 1 cup water are left and removes from the stove.
  7. In another pan, heat oil add onion and fry.
  8. Then add black cumin seeds, cardamoms, bay leaves, ginger garlic paste, green chilies paste, salt and fry.
  9.  Now add boiled rice, stock and mix.
  10. Pour yellow food color, kehwra essence, mint leaves, prepared shami kabab, let it simmer for half an hour .
  11.  Delicious shami kabab biryani is ready.
