Sheer Khurma

Ingredients:

  • Milk 1 liter
  • Vermicelli 1 cup
  • Sugar 2 cups
  • Cloves 2
  • Green Cardamoms 6
  • Dry Dates 8
  • Pistachios (chopped) 15
  • Almond (chopped) 10-12
  • Clarified Butter 2 tbsp

Method:

  1. Deseed the dry dates and cut them.
  2. In a pan, add in 2 tbsp clarified butter, crushed cardamom and cloves.
  3. Add in 1 cup vermicelli and sauté it.
  4. Take out the vermicelli and add in dry dates, pistachio and almonds.
  5. Fry it and take it out.
  6. Remove the pan from the stove and cool it.
  7. Add in 1 liter milk, add in 2 cups sugar and cook it for some time.
  8. When sugar dissolves add it vermicelli.
  9. Cook it for some time garnish it with dry fruits and serve.
