Spanish Chocolate Chip Cake By Shireen Anwar

Ingredients for Cake:

  • Butter 4 oz
  • Caster Sugar 1 cup
  • Eggs 2
  • Vanilla Essence 1 tsp
  • Flour 1 cup
  • Baking Powder 1 tsp
  • Salt a pinch
  • Yogurt 3 tbsp without water
  • Chocolate Chip topping:
  • Cream Cheese 8 cubes
  • Butter 75 grams
  • Egg 1
  • Icing Sugar 1 cup
  • Vanilla Essence half tsp
  • Chocolate Chip 1 cup

 

Method for cake:

  1. Beat butter and sugar till light and fluffy add 1 by 1 egg.
  2. Beating well after each addition add in essence, fold in sifted flour and baking flour mixture put in a well greased 8 inches pan and keep aside till we make topping.

 

Method for topping:

  1. Beat cream cheese and butter add egg and icing sugar vanilla very well.
  2. Put this topping on top of the batter on the cake with half cup chocolate chips and bake on 180 Degrees for 45 mins.
