Spicy Cheelay by Chef Gulzar

Ingredients:

  • Moong Lentils                        1 cup
  • White Lentils                          2 cup
  • Cumin Powder                       1 tbsp
  • Red Chili Powder                   1 tbsp
  • Green Chilies                          4-5
  • Garlic Paste                            1 tsp
  • Eggs                                         2-3
  • Coriander Leaves                   ½ bunch
  • Oil                                            for frying
  • Salt                                           to taste

Method:

  1. Wash and Soak lentils.
  2. Make batter by grinding together lentils, cumin, red pepper powder, garlic paste, egg, coriander leaves and salt in a blender.
  3. Now heat oil in a pan and fry scoops of the batter to form pancakes.
  4. Now cook these pancakes on a pan with 1 tbsp oil, fry from both the sides .
  5. Serve with chutney
