Ingredients:
- Flour 2 cup
- Salt ¾ tsp
- Clarified butter ¼ cup
- Carom seeds ½ tsp
- Water ½ cup
- Oil for frying
- For filling:
- Boiled potatoes 2-3
- Boiled peas ¾ cup
- Curry leaves 3-4
- Mango powder 2 tsp
- Crushed red chilies 1 tsp
- Salt to taste
- Turmeric ¼ tsp
- White cumin ¾ tsp
- Oil 4 tbsp
- Green chilies, coriander ½ cup
Method:
- In a bowl add water, clarified butter or oil, salt and carom seeds.
- Then knead flour and leave covered.
- For filling heat oil and fry curry leaves and white cumin in it.
- Also add salt, crushed red chilies, turmeric and mango powder
- Then add boiled potatoes and peas then mix well.
- Now add green chilies and coriander and let filling cool down.
- Then make small balls of dough and roll down in length and make two pieces from center.
- Make cut marks on one piece then put on other piece and roll slightly.
- Now put filling and press from sides and fry in hot oil.
