Ingredients:
- Fish fillet 1 kg
- Oil 2 cups
- Chat masala 1½ tsp
- Salt 1 tsp
- Lemon juice 2 to 3 tbsp
- Ingredients for Batter
- Gram flour 1 cup
- Ginger garlic paste 2 tbsp
- White vinegar ¼ cup
- Turmeric ¾ tsp
- Crushed red pepper 1 tsp
- Chili powder ½ tsp
- White pepper ½ tsp
- Carom seeds 1 tsp
Method:
- Wash and dry fish, marinate with salt and lemon juice
- Combine all the ingredients for a batter in a large bowl
- Add fish into batter.
- Heat oil in a wok, deep fry fish in batches over moderate heat
- Remove sprinkle chat masala over fish and serve immediately.
