Ingredients:
- For marination:
- Chicken 750 gram
- Ginger garlic paste 1 tbsp
- Salt to taste
- Red chili powder 1 tbsp
- Cumin powder 1 tsp
- Lemon juice 4 tbsp
- Coriander powder 1 tbsp
- Turmeric ¼ tsp
- Oil 4 tbsp
- Yogurt ¾ cup
- Ingredients for baghaar:
- Mustard oil ½ cup
- Whole red chili 6-8
- Green chilies 6-8
- Nigella seeds ½ tsp
- Fennel seeds ½ tsp
- White cumin ½ tsp
- Fenugreek seeds ¼ tsp
- Curry leaves 10-12
- Asafoetida 1 pinch
- Crushed ginger garlic 1 tbsp
Method:
- Put all marination ingredients on chicken and leave for 3 to 4 hours.
- Now add all mixture in a pan and cook on high flame.
- Then slow down the flame and cook until chicken get tender and water dries.
- Now heat mustard oil add whole red chili, asafoetida.
- Add curry leaves, green chilies and crushed ginger garlic and fry it slightly.
- Then add remaining ingredients and fry them little and pour them on chicken.
