Tomato Chilli Chutney Ramadan Recipe by Chef Tahir Chaudhry 10 June 2018

Ingredients:

  • Tomatoes (chopped)1
  • Chillies (crushed) 2 tbsp
  • Garlic 1 clove
  • Sugar1 tbsp
  • Vinegar2 tbsp
  • Garam Masala     ½ tsp
  • Salt½ tsp

Method:

  1. Put the tomatoes into a processor with all ingredients.
  2. Make a purée, then transfer to a heavy-based pan, bring to the boil.
  3. Reduce the heat and simmer for 5 mins, until the
  4. chutney is thickened.
  5. Pour the chutney into the jars.
  6. Store in the fridge and use within 1 month.
