White Chicken Karhai
Ingredients:
Chicken 1 kg
Butter 2 tbsp
Oil 2 tbsp
Yogurt 300 gram
Cream 150 gram.
Cashew Nuts Paste 2 tbsp
Ginger Garlic Paste 2 tsp
Green Chilies Paste 2-3 tsp
Black Pepper Powder 1 tsp
Cumin 1 tsp
Lemon Juice 2 tbsp
Salt to taste
Garam Masala Powder 1 tsp
Coriander Leaves 2 tbsp
Method:
heat oil and butter , add chicken and fry for few minutes, add ginger garlic paste, stir for 2-3 minutes more, add chilli paste, yoghurt, salt, and let it cook on medium heat for 6-7 minutes. now add cumin ,black pepper powder, garam masala powder, lemon juice , cashew nuts paste ,stir and add cream ,simmer on low heat for 2-3 minutes more. Garnish with coriander, serve with chapati or naan.
