Ingredients:
- Rice (boiled) ½ kg
- Cardamom 6
- Sugar 250 gms
- Ghee 250 gms
- Whole Dry Milk 250gms
- Raisins 50gms
- Coconut (chopped) 50gms
- Ashrafiyan 50gms
- Almonds & Pistachios 100 gms
- Kewra ½ tsp
- Yellow Food Color ½ tsp
- Saffron ½ tsp
Method:
- Put rice in a bowl and add Yellow Food Color and water as required and boil it.
- In another pan, heat ghee and then add cardamoms and cook it.
- When aroma starts coming, then add sugar and water.
- When the syrup is ready, then add almonds and pistachios, saffron, ashrafiyan, raisins, coconut powder, whole dry milk, kewra and boiled rice and put it on simmer for 30 minutes.
- Delicious special zarda is ready.
